Product Performance :
Gibberellin is the primary hormone that promotes cell elongation and leads to excessive growth. Paclobutrazol is a triazole-class plant growth retardant that inhibits the synthesis of gibberellin in plants. 0.4% Paclobutrazol Soluble Liquid is a low-concentration plant growth regulator formulation. Its core function is to inhibit excessive vegetative growth, promote reproductive growth, and mold ideal plant architecture, thereby laying the foundation for improved crop yield and quality.
Technical requirements for use:
0.4% Paclobutrazol SL must be applied during the initial or peak stage of the most vigorous vegetative growth to achieve a preventative effect. The optimal temperature range is 15°C – 30°C. It can by applied by using a sprayer with good atomization to apply an even and thorough spray to the stems and leaves. The foliage should be fully wetted but not to the point of runoff. Ensure the growing points are covered. Or for deep-rooted crops like fruit trees, the chemical can be applied by soil drenching into circular trenches around the roots. This method provides longer-lasting effects but requires attention to residue impacts on subsequent crops.
