Product Performance :
Fipronil is a broad-spectrum insecticide from the phenylpyrazole family. It acts primarily through ingestion, with secondary contact and systemic activity. It is particularly effective against common pests like Borers, locusts, flee beetles, thrips, cockroaches, and termites. It is widely used on rice, corn, vegetables, sugarcane, turf and Golf Courses.
Technical requirements for use:
1. Spraying:
· Method: Use knapsack sprayers, motorized mist blowers, or boom sprayers for even foliar spray.
· Key Point: Ensure the liquid covers the plants, especially the areas where pests are active and feeding (e.g., the front and back of leaves, stems).
2. Other Important Application Methods:
· Seed Treatment: This is a very important and efficient method. Dressing seeds or using seed coatings can control soil pests and seedling pests while reducing direct contact with non-target organisms.
· Soil Treatment: Applying granules or drenching the soil to control soil pests, root maggots, termites, etc.
· Baits: Used for controlling public health pests like cockroaches and ants. The insecticide is mixed with bait to attract and poison the pests.
